Breast Heaven is my cancer story. I used words and artwork to chart my journey. I know your story might be different but what is the same is how brave, strong, and courageous we must be as we face an ordinary day when everything has changed.

During the process of preparing the color edition of Breast Heaven, I wondered if the absence of color would allow me to see, feel and experience the images in a new way. In an instant, I fell in love with the re-imaging of the artwork.

Creating art has always been my vehicle for healing and transformation. In 2018, that changed and much to my surprise, I found my words, patiently waiting to show me a whole new way to paint a picture.
